Disa Anodes is a company engaged exclusively in the manufacture of materials for the cathodic protection industry.

The company has been operating since 1994 and employs 32 people at its factory in Johannesburg, South Africa. All the products are of our own manufacture with the exception of coke and exothermic welding powder. We are solely dedicated to serving the needs of the cathodic protection industry.

The name DISA is an acronym for (DI)mensionally (S)table (A)nodes, due to the fact that the first product manufactured was Mixed Metal Oxide coated Titanium Anodes. The range of products manufactured rapidly expanded to include extruded Zinc and Magnesium Ribbon as well as Magnesium Rod, all with steel wire core, cast and extruded Magnesium anodes for pipeline protection, various types of reference electrodes and specialised cable for cathodic protection.

The directors and employees of Disa have many years experience in all aspects of cathodic protection, from troubleshooting, survey, design, installation and commissioning, with the most experienced having commenced such activities in 1969, and others shortly after. We are therefore thoroughly familiar with the needs and requirements of the cathodic protection industry.

We hope that you will find our products of interest; we are continuously improving and expanding our product range and please do not hesitate to contact us for your requirements, even for products which are not shown in this website.
